【The Star 2^nd March 2016】Park Bogum talks about his friendship with BTS’ V 

Park Bogum and BTS’ V showed off their ‘friendship’ through supportive messages on SNS. Many people showed interest in these two’s relationship. Especially, after Park Bogum and V’s trip to Lotte World was revealed.

(18^th Dec 2015, in the interview V expressed) “I became closer to Park Bogum through a friend of mine who starred in ‘Cantabile Tomorrow’.” 

Park Bogum talks about how he became close with V,  “I was a fan of BTS because their singing and dancing are great and V approached me first. V said he got to know me because of his friend who was starring in ‘Cantabile Tomorrow’. He wanted to know my contact details so he asked his friend, then he contacted me first and we’ve been good friends since then.”

During the other interview, V expressed that he really wanted to act, and the day before Park Bogum’s interview, there were reports about V debuting as an actor through KBS2’s new drama ‘Hwarang: The Beginning’.  As if this was on his mind, Park Bogum says, tentatively: “I heard that he’s going to act.” (Did you give him any advice on acting?) “I didn’t. What advice could I give? (or not in the position to give advice) He kept saying that he wants to act. So I talked a lot about the tips that could help him.”

Music Bank was the link between Park Bogum and V, but if we were to talk about how they maintained their friendship, it’s probably because of their ‘shared interest’.

“Our shared interest? It’s music. We are both interested in composing songs and writing lyrics, so if there’s a chance, I want to show my own music to my fans. I don’t have the skills and a wide knowledge yet so I’ve got a lot to learn and I want to greet through albums or OST.”
